An Energy Star Certified Community

32 Apartment Homes Achieve Energy Star® Distinction

East of Market is the first apartment community in Frederick to achieve an Energy Star® certification.  This particular certification ensures that residents are living in apartments designed and built to meet high standards set by the Environment Protection Agency.

The certification provided to each of the 32 apartments.

At East of Market, these 32 apartment homes underwent an inspection process to obtain the Energy Star® certification.

Residents will be able to experience the difference of an Energy Star® certified home. Air leaks and drafts are significantly reduced, humidity levels are controlled, and outside noise is minimized.  In addition, Energy Star® promotes eco-friendly living by avoiding green house gas emissions.

An Energy Star® Certified Home stands by the motto “Better is Better:” better quality, better comfort, and better durability.

All East of Market apartments are built to Energy Star® standards, and the first 32 receiving the official certification provides a benchmark of how this new community has progressed in the mission to offer residents more.

East of Market Hosts Frederick’s NAC 7 Meeting

NAC meeting 2Yesterday, May 5, East of Market’s Clubhouse served as the meeting spot for over 30 people attending the City of Frederick’s NAC 7 meeting.

The City of Frederick is divided into 12 areas that each have their own NAC, a group that typically meets on a monthly or bi-monthly basis.  These meetings are open to all residents living within their particular NAC region, and serve as an open forum to ask questions, address concerns, or discuss their neighborhood.

East of Market is located in the boundary of NAC 7 and hosted the meeting to better connect with the local community.

After NAC 7 concluded, the East of Market team invited those in attendance to take a tour and learn MORE about these new, green, apartments.
