Frederick Community Prepares to Participate in Bring a Broom Saturday

Bring a Broom Saturday 2017Annual Community Volunteering Event Will Take Place on the last Weekend of April

In its sixth year, Bring a Broom Saturday is a day that celebrates and prioritizes keeping and maintaining the beauty and cleanliness of the Downtown Frederick area.

Taking place on Saturday, April 29 from 8:30 am – 11 am, volunteers will head to Downtown Frederick with a broom to assist with several tasks including: sweeping and removing litter, cleaning up the sidewalks and planting flowers.  For their work, volunteers will receive a continental breakfast in the morning and lunch after the event.

This event is sponsored by Tobacco Free Frederick, Wegmans, Brewer’s Alley and Downtown Frederick Partnership.
