Movies for Every Month of the Summer
Trying to plan summer activities? While beach vacations and excursions to nearby Cunningham Falls sound enticing, summer fun is happening right in Downtown Frederick with the 2018 Movie Night series. Downtown Frederick Partnership created the Movie Night series for the upcoming summer and early fall months of this year.
Movie Nights will take place in the Carroll Creek Ampitheater, adjacent to Market Street and near numerous Downtown restaurants and shops.
The movie schedule, posted online, includes:
“Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure” on Friday, June 15,
“Jaws” on Friday, July 20, and
“The Lego Movie” on August 17.
Attendees at Movie Series are encouraged to bring their own blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy to films. All movies will begin after sundown. These events are free to attend.
Downtown Frederick is a short drive or bike ride from this Frederick, Maryland apartment community. East of Market residents can easily head Downtown to enjoy the 2018 Movie Series.
Movie Nights are sponsored by Delaplaine Foundation, Flying Dog, Hood College, Rotary Club of Carroll Creek, and Tire World Auto Centers. Learn more about these events on the Downtown Frederick Partnership website.
